I think there is a common misconception about the phrase “having it all.” “Having it all” does not mean “Having it all in perfect harmony and never sacrificing anything.” “Having it all” means reevaluating what’s truly important to you and sometimes making small sacrifices across the board to maintain everything you want.
I have a beautiful baby, loving husband, great friends, fun-loving dogs, and a successful career, but every day is filled with negotiations and give and take.
Right now, my “having it all” sacrifice means I won’t be able to post every day going forward. I still plan to post a couple of times a week, because it does still bring me joy, but I need to take a (small) step back, at least for a while.
So, you may be seeing less of me, but I’ll still be around. No worries 🙂
